COMPANY OVERVIEW
Since 1996 APMCC has been operating in the design, manufacturing and sales of electronic products, as well as the design, installation and maintenance of electronic security system, market segments.
APMCC was taken over by Exys Electronic Holdings (Pty) Ltd in April 2001 and all access control capabilities were placed into Exys Security Systems (Pty) Ltd. The company expanded its business to provide maintenance and standby services to its customers. In 2003, Exys Security Systems (Pty) Ltd was approved as a "Platinum" Impro dealer.
From this solid base, as well as the additional skilled manpower and resources that were brought into the company, Exys Security Systems (Pty) Ltd is well positioned to play an active and substantial role as systems integrator in this market segment.

EXYS CUSTOMER SUPPORT POLICY
Exys Security Systems. (Pty) Ltd values high quality standards that are attained through ongoing research and development, a commitment to customer satisfaction, staff improvement and modern facilities and equipment. The company has Quality System are based upon the requirements of SABS ISO 9002, to provide it's customers with the assurance that they will receive only products and services that meet their ongoing needs.
Parts Guarantee
We warrant our new parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship. We will replace free of charge any parts we find to be defective in materials and workmanship provided the parts were properly installed, serviced and used in normal operation.
· New Equipment, 12 months from date of invoice - only against faulty workmanship, materials and construction.
· Modified or Repaired Equipment, 3 months from date of delivery - only against those parts/components replaced/repaired.
24 hour Service cover
We also offer the following service, as part of our extensive maintenance service, to our customers.
· Technical personnel available on a 24-hour basis for emergency breakdown repairs.
· Monthly scheduled preventative maintenance on all hardware and software.
· Monthly reports to the owner detailing the system condition, operating efficiency and proposed corrective action.
The Customer Support Policy is the concern of all principles and employees. The objectives will be communicated as widely as possible while assistance and training will be given where necessary to ensure the relevant knowledge and expertise are acquired for successful implementation of this policy.

EXYS SAFETY POLICY
Safety is one of the many corporate responsibilities that have to be acknowledged as of paramount importance. It is part of the total function embracing our many responsibilities and is an important factor in our drive towards greater productivity and profitability.
Management has been appointed in terms of the applicable act Ref. OHS ACT (85 of 1993) and will assume responsibility for ensuring that the requirements of the act and regulations are complied with.
All levels of management will take an active role in the health and safety program, and where improvements can be made, it is the duty of the manager to implement such.
· The Project Manager, assisted by the Site Manager will manage safety.
· Safety Appointments in terms of the O.H.S. Act will be made, and updated on an ongoing basis.
· Each new employee engaged by Exys will: -
a) be issued with personal protective equipment required to enable the employee to carry out his work safely.
b) Undergo an induction briefing, at which safe working practices will be explained and stressed.
· The Site Manger will carry out a safety inspection on a daily basis, and advise the relevant responsible persons of any unsafe site conditions, and steps to be taken to rectify it.
· The Site Manger will ensure that any reaction in terms of Item 4 above is carried out. In the event of the action in terms of Item 5 above not being carried out by the Exys responsible person, the Site Manager will: -
a) Stop all work in the unsafe area.
b) Report the situation to the Project Manager.
· All scaffolds will be erected and dismantled by competent persons, and prior to use each scaffold will be inspected and tagged by a trained scaffolding supervisor.
· All work carried out at a height exceeding 2m above ground level will either be safely barricaded, or the workman will use a safety belt.
· Jobs where special training is required will only be done by the relevant trained personnel.

EXYS ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Exys recognises and accepts its obligations to the ENVIRONMENT as a responsible member of the local communities in which we conduct business. We believe in the philosophy that prevention is better than cure.
The Environmental Policy is based on four fundamental principles:
Compliance
· We will manage our services and operations to meet or surpass the accepted standards of relevant environmental laws and or regulations.
· Our employees will be adequately trained and certified as necessary to comply.
Continuous Improvement
· Make Environmental concerns a design consideration in all-new product development and services.
· Making Environmental issues an integral part of management audits.
· Striving for minimisation of environmental impact through actively promoting recycling and cost effective use of natural resources.

Pollution Prevention

· Ensure compliant return or recycling of all hazardous materials.
· Ensure that our facilities have adequate and compliant pollution prevention procedures in place.
